OVERVIEW
EMGsensBLE is a single-channel ultra-lightweight wireless sensor for surface electromyography and motion recording. The device is attached directly to the skin and transmits data to a PC or mobile application via BLE 5.0.
The sensor provides EMG acquisition with a sampling rate of up to 5 kHz, envelope EMG recording, and data from built-in sensors (3D accelerometer and gyroscope).
It supports operation with both integrated electrodes and external disposable electrodes via an adapter. A vibrotactile stimulator can be used for experiments involving feedback.
EMGsensBLE is applied in education, research, and development in the fields of EMG, brain-computer interfaces, rehabilitation, biofeedback, neuromarketing, and neurogaming. Its lightweight housing (6 g) and built-in rechargeable battery provide more than 15 hours of continuous operation.
SOFTWARE
The EMGsensBLE sensor operates on the LabStudio software.
The software supports synchronous connection of multiple sensors, real-time signal visualization, experiment management, and an integrated database for storing recordings.
Data can be saved in open formats (EDF, BDF, CSV, XLSX) and streamed via Lab Streaming Layer (LSL) for further analysis in external environments (MATLAB, EEGLAB, EDFBrowser, and others).
An SDK is available upon request for integration into custom PC and mobile applications.
