OVERVIEW
NVX-36T combines the functions of a high-precision 36-channel electroencephalograph and a transcranial electrical stimulator.
Each channel is equipped with an individual 24-bit ADC with a sampling rate of up to 10,000 Hz, providing high quality and accuracy of EEG recording. The built-in current generator, based on direct digital synthesis (DDS), supports various stimulation modes (tDCS, tACS, tRNS, sham, etc.) and allows the use of both standard waveforms and custom sequences.
Key features:
- 32 monopolar EEG channels and 4 additional bipolar channels;
- EEG recording and stimulation with fast alternating mode switching;
- current range 10 µA – 3.9 mA;
- automatic calculation of the integral charge (coulombs) delivered through each electrode;
- OLED display, trigger inputs/outputs, and Lab Streaming Layer (LSL) support for real-time EEG data streaming.
SOFTWARE
For managing transcranial electrical stimulation (tES) and EEG recording, the NeoRec and TETOS Expert software solutions are provided.
- NeoRec — designed for EEG recording and analysis. Supports saving in EDF+, BDF+, and GDF formats, as well as real-time data streaming via Lab Streaming Layer (LSL) for integration with MATLAB, EEGLAB, OpenViBE, and other platforms.
- TETOS Expert — used for configuring and controlling stimulation. Allows setting parameters for tDCS, tACS, and tRNS, using custom waveforms (WAV), flexible electrode role assignment, and real-time monitoring of procedures.
Optional modules (upon request):
- Neurovisor — clinical EEG software with IFCN-recommended montages, voice guidance, built-in artifact suppression algorithms, and automated reporting.
- Neurovisor-tES — clinical module for tES: electrode montage selection, monitoring of current and impedance, and automated stimulation reports.
Together, these software tools provide researchers and clinicians with a precise and flexible environment for managing stimulation parameters and EEG recording, ensuring full control over experimental and clinical procedures.
